Baby Food Fish Pie | 9 to 12 Months | 180g

Imagine a rainy day in Dublin, your baby sitting in their highchair, clapping their hands on the table while you juggle work, chores, and the anxiety of providing the best nutrition. This is where Hug in a Bowl’s Fish Pie comes in like a warm hug. Designed for babies aged 9 to 12 months, this dish is a celebration of flavors from the sea and land: tender pieces of Irish haddock and cod swim in a creamy blend of fresh organic milk, hugged by buttery potatoes, organic broccoli, and sweet corn. Every bite is a sensory adventure—green peas pop gently in the mouth, cheddar cheese melts like a smile, and the fish delivers omega-3s to support cognitive development.

Our team, led by Deusa (mother and founder), spent months perfecting textures: it’s not puree, nor big chunks. It’s the “just-right” balance for babies exploring chewing—soft enough to avoid choking, but with tiny bits that challenge gums to practice. The secret? We steam the fish to lock in nutrients and blend the veggies until they reach a consistency that feels like a grandmother’s love.

No time to spare? Just 3 minutes on the stove or microwave. While it heats, you have time for a coffee or a quick play session. And when your little one licks their lips after the last spoonful, you’ll know you’ve offered more than a meal: iron for their blood, calcium for their bones, and energy to explore the world.
