Hug in a Bowl, founded by Deusa de Assis, is an Irish baby food company born from Deusa's decade-long journey inspired by her experiences as both a mother and a childminder. Hug in a Bowl provides ready-made meals and dishes to support infant, toddler and kids nutrition, offering delicious, high-quality products. The company stands out with a menu emphasising natural ingredients and promoting healthy eating habits. Each recipe is carefully crafted to cater to babies, infants, toddlers, and kids incorporating appropriate elements, textures, and flavours for their respective age groups.
Our
Nutrition Partner
Marina Ferrari is a Maternal & Child Nutrition Specialist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with over 12 years of experience supporting families through nutrition and feeding challenges from pregnancy to toddlerhood. With a background in Nutrition & Dietetics and a PhD in Public Health Nutrition, she offers compassionate, evidence-based guidance on infant feeding, starting solids, and children’s eating behaviours. Her passion is helping parents feel confident and connected during mealtimes, without the faff, making feeding feel practical, responsive, and truly doable.
